Sadlove songs . . . what draws them to us? Honestly, I don’t know. A sad past? A
failed relationship? A lost love? One thing for sure, one time in each of our
lives we felt betrayed, our heart were broken yet . . . we can’t help but miss
that person who shattered our hearts into a million pieces.
To
some, the pain never went away, the hate lingered despite the years. To others
who are lucky, they learned to move on, got a new start, a life of their own.
These guys are the ones who erased the
cause of their pain, like they were never there. Denial? Maybe. And then there
are the ones who just stayed loving despite the hurt.
At
first , of course there was the tears, followed by the waiting. Wishing he’d
come around and realize that you’re the one, that your perfect for each other.
Days, months, years pass, life goes on. You meet somebody else, he finally made
you smile, you felt special again. Maybe he’s the one ?
Life,
maybe no picket fences but your ok. Your happy in your own little way, then
fate plays a trick on you, your paths crossed. You ask yourself, why am I not
mad? There’s no anger but rather you heart seems to smile. Why? Wasn’t he the
one who broke your heart? Didn’t he leave you torn apart without a reason? Yet,
he still makes you smile.
